In today’s guest article on my blog, she shares how her idea came to life, which trends she is currently observing in wedding drinks, and the kind of atmosphere she aims to create with her bar at weddings.

Hey, I’m Lynn, the founder of TravelingShaker, based in the Regensburg region.
Hospitality has long become more than just a profession for me. It is a part of who I am. What once started as a side job quickly grew into a passion that became the center of my journey. I truly believe that hospitality thrives on new ideas, fresh inspiration, and genuine personality.
Even at 23, I have already gained a wide range of experience, from Hamburg to Jena and Munich, and now Regensburg, where I currently live and study. Along the way, I worked in unique bars, mixed drinks, and continued my studies before completing my training as a professional bartender in the Munich area.
The work is not always easy, and the days can be long, but that is exactly what I love about it. I enjoy the dynamic, working with people, and the feeling of being right in the middle of it all. There is always something happening behind the bar, and that is exactly where I have always felt I belong.
It was from this passion that TravelingShaker was ultimately created.
How did the idea for the mobile bar come about?
The idea grew from my own experience at events and weddings. Many celebrations took place in beautiful locations, either in venues without a fixed bar or outdoors on open fields where a large bar trailer simply did not fit. In the end, the only option was often to set up a table and place drinks on it, functional, but rarely truly fitting the atmosphere.
That is exactly why I wanted to create a better solution.
My bar is flexible, easy to set up, and independent of trailers or fixed locations. This means it can be used anywhere, indoors or outdoors. If the weather changes or the schedule shifts, the bar can simply move with it.
It blends naturally and elegantly into any event while also simplifying the entire planning process. From setup to the individual design of the drink menu, I take care of everything and tailor it personally to each event.
What trends are you currently seeing in wedding drinks?
At weddings, the trend is increasingly moving toward personalized drinks rather than classic standard cocktails. Many couples are looking for signature drinks that reflect their story, whether through shared memories, favorite ingredients, or a concept that perfectly matches their wedding colors.
At the same time, the demand for high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives is growing. It is often underestimated how exciting alcohol-free drinks can be, as they can easily match the taste and experience of classic cocktails.
For me, the focus is always on creating great drinks that perfectly complement the celebration and the overall atmosphere.
What kind of atmosphere do you want to create with your bar at a wedding?
With my mobile bar, I want to enhance the atmosphere of a celebration in a stylish way while creating a lively meeting point at the same time. For me, it is not just a place for drinks, it quickly becomes the space where people laugh, raise a glass, and connect with one another.
My goal is to create a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere that blends naturally into the celebration and gives guests the feeling that they can always find a great drink and good conversation.
In the end, it is all about the overall experience, an evening that feels light, effortless, and truly enjoyable.
