Memories that last forever
Some passions do not begin with a plan, but with a feeling.
My name is Luna, although my full name is Luna Joelle. I am 21 years old and work full time in administration at a public office. I have been taking photos since I was 14. What started back then with a camera and a lot of curiosity has become an essential part of my life today.
Since 2025, I have been officially registered as a small business and now have the opportunity to accompany special moments, especially weddings that touch me every single time.
I feel most at home in my region, the beautiful Franconian Forest in Upper Franconia. But I am also happy to travel wherever you need me for your wedding photography.
Between structure and creativity
My everyday life is shaped by structure, order and organisation. Maybe that is exactly why I love photography so much. It is my creative balance.
While my job in the public sector requires clarity and precision, behind the camera I get to capture emotions, search for light and feel the atmosphere. This combination of both grounds me while at the same time giving me space for creativity.
My eye for colours, details and atmosphere
I do not have one single favourite colour, but I love soft pastel tones. Blush pink, gentle blue, delicate yellow or warm apricot.
I am drawn to natural, light-filled imagery. Especially in spring, when wildflowers bloom or tulips stand in the sunlight, my heart feels full. Maybe that is why I am currently in my own little “spring phase”. I simply love this feeling of new beginnings and lightness.
Why weddings touch my heart
Weddings are full of details. A slightly trembling glance. Hands holding on to each other. Sunlight falling through a window.
I love capturing exactly these small, often unnoticed moments. I am especially fascinated by detail shots, because they tell so much without saying a word.
For me, it is not just about capturing how something looks, but how it feels.
What inspires me
I love to travel, discover new places and collect memories, preferably through photos and little magnets for my fridge. I truly believe that memories are more valuable than things.
Lying in a meadow in summer, feeling the sun and simply listening to the birds, these are the moments that remind me how beautiful simplicity can be. And it is exactly this feeling that I try to capture in my images.
The little things that define me
I love good food, especially creamy rigatoni with a rich cream sauce or really good burgers.
I prefer watching series over movies, but I still have a favourite film: Tangled, especially the scene with the floating lanterns. That warm light and that atmosphere, maybe that is exactly why I love natural light in my photography so much.
I listen to all kinds of music, enjoy sunny days in every season and have a soft spot for almost all animals, especially dogs, cats and otters. I have to admit though, I cannot really get along with insects and spiders.
As a person, I would describe myself as calm and attentive. Behind the camera, however, I truly come alive. That is where I can be creative, capture moments and fully express my passion for photography.
My family means a lot to me and I love spending time with the people who are close to my heart. My partner and our two cats are also a very important part of my life.
In general, I love meaningful moments shared with others. Maybe that is exactly why it means so much to me to capture memories for people.
And what does photography mean to me?
Photography is, to me, like a memory you can hold in your hands.
A photograph can bring back exactly the feeling you had in that moment, even years later.
And if I manage to do that, then I have done everything right.
